Halogen Floor Lamp Torchiere

The term 'torchiere' isn't exactly the most common term you'll hear when it comes to buying a halogen floor lamp, but it's really easy to understand. The text book definition is a tall lamp that has the light being projected upwards. It's essentially like a torch because the flame of a torch would up into the air. And this is something that you can get from your lamp. It seems a little different than a normal lamp. A normal lamp is designed to shine on the room. The torchiere is designed to project the light up, so the light in the room is a reflection of the ceiling and walls.
